The theme I worked with in this piece, were rhetorical figures, there was an initial research and sketches where I established the one to work with was the simile. Hence, I did a simile between the clock and the heart, where the similarities resi- de on the beating and the ticking. Moreover, I used a couple of techniques such as drawing, dithering and digital painting. Through this process the illustration came to life, the color was given digitally which is meant for the dithering to stand out
